4. Be Sure to Drink Plenty of Water
Not much of a water drinker? Well, it’s time to change that right away. You must get into the habit of consuming water – not energy drinks, not more coffee, not soda. You just need water.
Water is essential because it helps you stay hydrated. You will sweat a lot when you partake in Muay Thai, and the last thing you’ll want is to be dehydrated.
5. Refrain from Buying Cheap Gear
The gear that you sport when you fight in Muay Thai is to protect your body. It is an investment to shield your knees, elbows, and face from pain and damage.
So, why would you want cheap, inferior quality? The answer is that you don’t. Rather than wasting money on products that will break down and hardly be effective, it would a good idea to spend a little bit more to get high-quality protective gear. You can be confident that if your opponent strikes you, you won’t deal with agony.
